Any itinerary should include the legendary Angkor Wat Temple and the two other legendary temples and Bayon Temple South Gate offer the most spectacular and unique examples of Angkorian art .
On the route of the road to Bayon , you will also see the South Gate and other minor ruins .
As it is of the same walking distance to Bayon , even the briefest visit to the center of Angkor Thom can usually include with its artistic and attractive terrace and massive “mountain temple” as Prasat Baksei Chamkrong , Baphuon and Phimeanakas .
Over time and interest build the rest of the tour route around each type of major temples such as Temple Preah Rup , Ta Keo, Bakong and West Mebon .
